OUR HOME RENOVATIONS PROCESS

We visit your home, talk about your goals and vision, and walk you through expectations + next steps!

You meet with our design team for an in-depth interview; we then design and present schematic drawings and layout options for review. *includes initial cost investment

We fine-tune the drawings, begin selecting materials, finishes, and fixtures, coordinate with our trusted trades, then bring your design to life (i.e the fun part)! *includes primary cost investment

Your project doesn’t end at construction! Our Aftercare team is here for anything you need.

Before & Afters
What Our Clients Say
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to get my own permits?
No. As your contractor, we handle the entire permitting process. We submit the plans, coordinate with local building departments, and schedule all necessary inspections. We ensure everything is up to code so your investment is protected.
Will there be a mess in my house during construction?
Construction is inherently dusty, but we take “livable remodeling” seriously. We use floor protection, plastic zip-walls to seal off construction zones, and HEPA air scrubbers where necessary. We also perform a basic cleanup at the end of every workday to ensure your home remains as functional as possible.
How do you handle "surprises" after construction starts?
Once we open up walls, we occasionally find legacy issues like outdated wiring, plumbing leaks, or structural rot. If this happens, we issue a Change Order. This is a document that outlines the specific problem, the cost to fix it, and any impact on the timeline. We never proceed with extra work without your written approval.
Do I need to buy the materials myself?
We will be the ones ordering, storing, and sourcing all materials. All you need to do is approve the selections you’d like in your home!
Can I stay in my home while you work?
In most cases, yes. However, if you are doing a major renovation, you may want to make alternative arrangements until your project is complete or until key areas are livable again.
Do you provide a warranty for your work?
Yes. We stand behind our craftsmanship. We provide a 2-year warranty on all labor. Additionally, many of the materials we install (such as flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures) come with their own manufacturer’s warranties, which we will document and hand over to you upon completion.
Who will be in my house every day?
You will be assigned a dedicated Project Manager who oversees the site. We work with a consistent team of trusted, vetted subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.) who have worked with us for years. You’ll always know who is coming and going via our project management portal, Builder Trend.
