“We reached out to a number of Design/Build firms but Infinite Home was the only one that didn’t try and sell us on their own vision for our home but took our vision and made it even better.”
–Adam (Client)
The Design | Build Process
Step 1- Complimentary Home Visit
Following our initial call, we visit your home to walk the space and get to know you better. This is when you share your vision with us (Pinterest boards, magazine clippings, and Houzz idea board) and tell us specific needs you have for the remodel or build. At this time, we will advise you of any foreseeable issues; such as structural, plumbing, and zoning concerns, and take rough measurements where needed. Next, we will send you our Design Agreement which includes a written scope of work and initial cost estimate.
INVESTMENT: Complimentary.
TIMEFRAME: Visit takes approximately 1 hour. Design Agreements are presented within seven days of initial visit.
Step 2- Project Development
Next, we start to fill in the details for your project. Our team gathers existing site information by taking photos, measurements, surveys, and bringing in a structural engineer if needed. Light demo may be needed to uncover any hidden conditions. We then present a 3D rendering of our proposed plan so you can see how the new space will look and feel. We help you stay inspired with design selections and give you hands-on opportunities in our studio to make your final selections. Clients truly feel the benefit of having design/build housed under one roof as we coordinate the production work and design in harmony. When this step ends, you will have a Construction Agreement with our project plan, specifications, design selections, and the final fixed investment. Once you send your approval, it’s time to start work in your home!
INVESTMENT: Varies by project, but roughly 6% of total estimated project cost, which applies toward your construction agreement once engaged.
TIMEFRAME: Varies by project
