When our clients came to us, they had a clear dream for their home: a space that felt brighter, more functional, and welcoming inside and out. They could see the potential but weren’t sure how to bring all the pieces together. That’s where our team came in—to listen, guide, and help them create a home that finally matched their vision.
Entryway
Because the entryway is the first thing guests see, our clients wanted it to make a statement. Their original staircase felt dated, so reimagining it became a key part of the transformation. We designed the new staircase with sleek black balusters and warm hardwood railing and stairs that matched the hardwood flooring, instantly creating and warm and cohesive start to their home. The Savoy House Wynwood chandelier added just the right amount of character, setting the tone for the rest of the home.
Kitchen
Our clients wanted their kitchen to feel more connected to the living room, but they also loved the overall layout of their home and didn’t want to make drastic changes. The goal was to create better flow without losing the character of the spaces they already enjoyed. To achieve this, we carried design details from the living room into the kitchen, refreshing the cabinetry with the same style seen in their built-ins. One of the biggest shifts came from removing the wall that once separated the breakfast room from the kitchen. This simple change opened up the walkway, making the two spaces feel like one continuous part of the home while still allowing each area to serve its purpose. To bring a modern touch to the kitchen, we introduced brushed brass fixtures by Kholer, Chloe glossy ceramic subway tile backsplash, and quartz countertops. These thoughtful touches brought warmth, light, and just the right amount of texture. The result is a kitchen that feels open, airy, and timeless, but still familiar.
Living Room
Our clients wanted this room to feel inviting and practical. By replacing the carpet with the same hardwood floors found in the rest of the home, we were able to create a sense of warmth and continuity. The fireplace mantel was painted Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee, giving it new life as a focal point, while the built-in cabinetry was updated to reflect the cabinets in the kitchen. We refreshed the walls, trim, and millwork with a fresh coat of paint, instantly brightening the room and creating a clean, cohesive backdrop.
Master Bathroom
The primary bathroom needed to feel like a true retreat—a space where our clients could unwind and start or end their day feeling relaxed. The existing layout wasn’t giving them that sense of calm, so we reimagined the space to make it both functional and serene.
We started by designing a spacious, glass-enclosed shower finished in a
porcelain marble-style tile and accented with modern brushed brass fixtures and a built-in niche for everyday convenience. While our clients loved having a double vanity, they also wanted a little more breathing room to get ready. To create that separation, we utilized an unused area of the bathroom—relocating the toilet into its own private enclosure and expanding the vanity wall for a more open layout.
The warm wood base of the vanity now adds an inviting, organic touch, while the Kichler Aviv wall sconces add sleek visual interest to the room. Now their bathroom feels calm, refreshing, and timeless.
Exterior
Curb appeal was important to our clients—not just for looks, but for creating a welcoming first impression that matched the warmth of their home’s interior. Beyond that, there were also a few major structural updates needed to bring the exterior up to date.
The most significant transformation came from removing two outdated screened-in porches and replacing them with a new deck that connects seamlessly to the living room, creating an easy flow between indoor and outdoor living. On the back of the home, we replaced the siding and brick, while a new front door and trim added instant charm to the entryway. A fresh coat of paint on both the siding and shutters pulled everything together, giving the exterior a refreshed yet natural look, blending perfectly with the surrounding foliage.
